To the Jealous Mistress,
Who are you?
Are you the one plagued by slavery and taunted with freedom? The one deprived of her pride of character? Forced to reside in a condition of shame and misery? The one used as a machine for human production by a man who is not your own? The one who is coerced by razor to love? Punished by your conditions because you were taught to feel you were human? The one who’s lack of straightforward physical punishment is unwillingly made up for behind closed doors?
Or are you that whom is full of love but receives none in return? That who’s husband wishes the company of others? That who craves affection but receives none? Who keeps close watch on her nemesis with thoughts of violence and torture? Who’s husband has more dedication to his breeding grounds than to your sacred vows?
If the former, find solace in your grandmother and in those that you find dear to your heart.
If the latter, hold your jealousy. Have autonomy over what you can and love your own children.
Sincerely,
The one who is curious
